Riding at Maybury State Park

Maybury is a unique park as it is the only state park with horse trails in Wayne County, providing close access to trails for Southeast Michigan.

​

Maybury Trail Riders (MTRA) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), charitable organization formed for the purpose of promoting, improving and protecting equestrian trails in Maybury State Park.    This organization is run solely by volunteers who enjoy riding in our "Urban Gem" and want to ensure horses can be found at Maybury.

Maybury Trail Riders works closely with the Michigan DNR, Parks and Recreation Division and Friends of Maybury to support the park and the horse trails.

Please consider becoming a member today!  Your membership shows the park that the equestrian trails are desired and your funds help pay for maintenance and enhancements of the trails.
